The big lesson of this past Capricorn season was the Magician. As one very difficult year closed out and another began, we may have experienced a renewed sense of agency, of hope, of possibility. The gifts needed to get unstuck presented themselves and we discovered that they were within us all along.
This new Aquarius season brings the spirit of the Ace of Pentacles. Now that we’ve realized our potential, we are itching to begin these new journeys and for new opportunities to appear. Our goals are set high and we’re willing to put in the work.
However, the Five of Wands suggests that these beautiful new directions will not necessarily come without some struggle, whether internal or external. For many, our own resistance to change may be the biggest obstacle standing in our way.
If we can harness the energy of the Three of Wands, we may be able to overcome this conflict. Being open to growth and change will be vital, as well as keeping a long-term perspective. We may not be able to achieve our dreams and desires as quickly as we’d like, but nevertheless, things are changing for the better. The difficulties and discomfort we are currently experiencing are temporary.
In order to meet the expectations of this Aquarius season, we are being asked to release the Four of Swords. Rest and rejuvenation are, of course, essential, but this is a time to harness the other vibrant energies at play and to put in the work. Find connection with those who share your dreams, set goals, put yourself out there. Be as clear as you can about what you want to manifest and figure out what must be done to do so.
As a result, we can learn the lesson of Strength: confident, focused, and compassionate. We have the energy and motivation to achieve our wildest imaginings. By keeping a balanced and patient perspective we can bring our brilliant visions into being.
