Since the full moon lunar eclipse in Gemini, there has been much evaluation of what is not working in our lives, both internally and externally. Professional directions may be in question and there’s been a sense of discomfort and dissatisfaction. The Four of Cups shows a significant yearning for more - more connection, more fulfillment, more alignment. While this may be an uncomfortable yearning, it is necessary and a sign that it is time for change.
In the next moon cycle, there is both a desire and need to embrace the Nine of Wands energy. To make these necessary changes, persistence will be needed and we will need to call on all of our inner strength. It may be time to set some boundaries in order to prioritize what needs to be done to truly live life in alignment. Finding a supportive community with shared goals will also be important.
In order to do this, we can look to the Hanged Man. These are not easy changes to make and they require risk, release, and surrender. We may need to get comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. This may mean pushing ourselves to dare to take on a venture we didn’t think possible, or approaching a situation from a new perspective.
The Ten of Wands reminds us that this journey will not be easy, but it will be rewarding. We will perhaps come out of this exhausted, but with the assurance that we are on the right path and are breaking out of that Four of Cups malaise. Success is probable, but will require determination and tenacity. Releasing ourselves from old patterns is never easy, but is absolutely necessary for the type of metamorphosis we are ready and aching for.
