New Moon in Scorpio Tarot Reading

Tarot card spread on black background: Three of Wands, Four of Swords, The High Priestess, The Magician

1) How have I grown since the full moon? Three of Wands

2) What do I want to grow in the next moon cycle? Four of Swords

3) What tools will I need to do this? The High Priestess

4) What will I learn, or become, as a result? The Magician

The period since the difficult full moon on October 31 has been one of expansion and excitement. The energy of the Three of Wands shows that relationships and situations have been infused with a breath of fresh air and there is, at last, hopefulness and harmony.

Inspired by these new horizons and long-term goals - both personal and professional - there may be an eagerness to act quickly. However, the Four of Wands is a gentle reminder to avoid burnout during this moon cycle. Rest and relaxation are essential for manifesting all these beautiful things, especially if longevity is the aim. Let these relationships or projects smolder slowly and enjoy the increasing warmth they provide.

The High Priestess energy will help with this. In order to listen to the inner voice, we need to provide space and quiet. This last week of Scorpio season is a perfect time to explore the subconscious and connect with intuition in deep and meaningful ways. The High Priestess encourages us to avoid both literal distractions and those distracting external voices and influences that cause us to doubt what we know to be true.

As a result, we can learn how to manifest and take inspired action like the Magician. There is a great period of creativity and expansion ahead. As long as intuition is honored and space and time are carved out for reflection and rest, we too can harness the Magician’s potential for transformation.
